MEGS: Sorted out packing, checked out and put stuff in storage as our flight wasn’t until 10.25 pm. Off to bank to sort out money for Bali, Alex's ATM machine wouldn't give him money so spent most of the day first trying to find the 24 Hour Nat West helpline –only to have it not work. Eventually got the right number and found out the ATM’s were having technical difficulties! Went online, bummed around in the sun and then got shuttle bus (10 minutes late) driver then forgot to pick someone up, so he had to turn around and go back! Straight through with check-in, no shops open-oh well. Really annoying traveller at airport who followed us from Globetrotters, banging on about Kuta and how Oz Experience was amazing?!
ALEX: A short flight to Denapasar (2 hours) then we arrived in our last country, Bali. Really cool so far, everything covered in fairy lights. Got a lift to the hotel with the travel agents, and what a hotel! It’s straight out of a Bond film and just as plush as the one in Cairns. But cheaper.
